There's a lot of context missing here for those that don't like the idea, so let me fill you in as a special ed. We should learn to use them and pass our knowledge on to student teachers. This sub is FULL of teachers with back-braking caseloads working under unsupportive admin. Get off your high horse and have some compassion for the dwindling amount of folks entering special education and looking to deliver quality IEPs for their students without sacrificing their own time. There is a reason why teachers don't make it past the 5 year mark in special education.
